Zweifel
Since 1969, Craig Zweifel has been producing a unique body of glass work which has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ceramics and a Masters Degree in Glass Design, he worked in his studio near Ketchum, Idaho for 30 years, developing his own unique style of glasswork.
Now in his Oregon studio, each piece of glasswork is hand blown by Craig. The distinctive iridescent colors of his signature process fuses silver to molten glass, then crystallizes the surface. The colors are created by light reacting to this texture of silver silicate crystals. The patterns are overlays of hot glass melted in over the silver surface.
